After the Vietnam War, Eddie Ritter arrives in Provincetown at the tip of Cape Cod and takes a chance on fishing. At first he crews on big boats that make up Provincetown’s commercial fleet, but soon he decides to fish his way:  doing everything by hand in his beloved bright orange dory.  

 

Working his body to exhaustion, Eddie finds peace on the water — even after the fluke he catches for decades have disappeared.
