On the tip of Cape Cod, poet Stanley Kunitz cultivated his garden for more than 50 years. Over five seasons, I photo-graphed alongside Stanley – beginning when he was 95 years old.

 

The project became a book entitled THE WILD BRAID, published by W.W. Norton & Company. With poet Genine Lentine, Stanley reflected on his childhood, on creativity, poetry, and gardening.
